First i am not that good at computers. Tried to go fo INFINITY from WB7 using the method you describe. All good till i forgot your instruction to put remote down at a specific point, i carried on clicking, I have open ATV 6.1 and need to know how to recover please

just flash atv again from your box wot box is it then go to wooshmans instructions again for infinity once you have done it the first time you will see how easy it is
 
if you have a line for vm then you should have the channels if its a sky uk line then they stopped a while ago except the freeview
 
Evening!

When I originally set up with WBI it asked if you wanted to include the non working Sly channels or not, I chose not at the time and I'm sure it said you could change this setting afterwards.

I've done a good few searches on the forums with different search terms and also been through loads of the menus on the zGemma H2S box, but can't seem to find how to switch them on again.

Any help/assistance much appreciated........thanks in advance!
 
i think its press menu setup service searching its in there stat scan is what you need dont know why you want the non working channels though

been having the same issue myself. Stuck at 49!!! I have used all 3 links for openatv. But no joy. Can you explain how I am missing the openwebif.and can I sort it.
H52tc .wooshbuild 7 had stopped working as box has been switched off for about 3 weeks whilst I was on holiday . at first I couldn't get the box to flash ,it kept saying USB update , but by holding in the power button when I switch the box on it allowed the USB to flash,but now it keeps getting stuck at 49 when it's booting. Can anyone shed any light for me ? Cheers

Hi. I installed Wooshbuild over OpenATV (openatv-6.1-zgemmah52tc-20180727_usb.zip) on my Zgemma H5.2TC yesterday (so everything should be up to date).

I've gotten FreeSat and Vermin working (along with an IPTV sub too), which is great (thank you!) but I'm having some trouble with the Audio Description on the Vermin Sly HD Movie Channels.

I've followed the other posts, with the standard Audio settings (prefer English and nothing else, AC3, not AC3+, downmix on, etc. and reboot - three times now) but when I go into the Audio settings on the channel (by pressing the "Audio" button), it only shows me an MPEG/NAR line and not any alternatives... and the AD voices are still taunting me.

All the other posts say this is sorted in more up to date software, but I'm using the latest builds available and the box is pretty recent (and brand new to me yesterday) so I'm baffled.

Is there something I'm missing, or is the audio on the Sly Movies HD channels completely goosed?
 
the Audio Desc was solved by installing openatv 6.1, if you still have it, it means you haven't installed the new build, or it's not installed properly
press menu>info panel>infos>image version
what does it say in there?

Thanks for the reply but I installed 6.1, hence my frustration. It's the only install I did, so it can't have been a previous build. Anyway, trying iPab instead...

Thanks. I don't think you're wrong about that. I'm not too bothered as I have a Rpi3 acting as a media server, so I can record from IPTV anyhow... To be honest, I don't know why I bother at all as the kids are constantly watching cr*p anyway. :)

Hi . Can anyone tell me should I be seeing anything on screen whilst i am flashing openatv on to my box ? I can get the box to flash but it stops at 49. ....Is The openwebif step i am missing on screen ? Box is H52tc. Not sure if this is important. But it would only flash when i held in the power button on the front and then.pressed the white at the back. Before , the box just said "USB. UPDT."
But by holding power in too,it displays "USB" first then FLSH. Cheers
 
Once the box is flashed your should see the openATV setup wizard, it starts with selecting your video resolution for your TV. The box will sit at 49 on the counter at this point. If you don't have anything on your TV screen at this point then this needs to be sorted before anything else.

The Infinity setup instructions show a screen shot of what you should see once your box is flashed with openATV.

Webif is done via your browser on computer, tablet or phone, but as above, you should already have something on your TV at that point.
 
Hi all, can you record to a usb that can be watched on PC or Mac?
I just tried and neither see the recorded program.

Hi, I've updated to the infinity build today but I didn't have to set anything up it didn't ask me to set up open atv or anything as it wasn't a fresh install as I had a older version of whoosh on there, my problem is I can't find whooshbuild config now so I can't change to slyk skin or change region can anyone help please @wooshman

So as a result of not following the instructions you are still running an old, outdated openATV, basically a previous version of WooshBuild.

Follow the instructions and do it properly and we will be able to help if you get stuck. One thing to add though is you won't be just be able to install the slyk skin as it was removed over 12 months ago and will require you to add it manually which we don't cover. There are 2 Sky skins by Chabs. SkyWB and SkyNew along with all of Chabs other skins.
