SNR goes to 70%

Hello, I had a working zgemma H2H, but with a H2S image. I was experiencing freezing channels. Thinkin it could be the wrong image causing it, i have updated to the right image, and Wooshbuild. I have put my line back, I am on Virgin Media therefore cable.
My scan channel returns a lot, and the bouquet as well. However none are working.
I had todownload the SoftCam pluging. When I open it, I can see the red "stop", green "start/restart", yellow "Uninstall" and blue "Download", but nothing in the middle is that normal? My old image I could tick/untick the CCcam.2.3.1.
see the Softcam Manager here
And when I click the Download button here
Anyway, the other thing I can notice is that the SNR is going to 70% on the blank channels that i have got!
It was working before and around 22%, so i believe there are more settings to do regarding the tuner?
more pic about my tuner settings here and here

The main cable, split with a good quality splitter is also feeding the VM tivo and the VM hub which works fine, so i would rule out a dodgy splitter...

Any help? Thanks

on my box upstairs I have some blank channels and the snr is in late 60%, working channels are 95%+, its not the box as I get 95%+ when I move the box downstairs, it is more than likely a connection problem, check your cables, splitter and f-connectors. On cable you should be getting a high snr figure on all channels.

Hiya thanks for your advice.
With the help of Pabloescaban, we sorted it out, looked like a line problem, so i need to sort it out with my provider.
I just put on the original freezing channels to see, and it still freezes occasionally, but ill leave it running a bit longer and check other channels.

How old is cable feeding upstairs as it could be losing strength and what make and type of splitter is in use as downstairs is better.

it is definately the cable, I have a join in it, outside and not coverred very will and when we had the bad weather last winter I suspect it got wet/water ingress. I've not got round to doing it as its not effecting all channels and we normally only use that box to watch recordings/movies downloaded so its not a big issue for us
