Wouldn't know because on ours it doesn't matter which HDMI port you use.

My brother had problems with his samsung tv trying to stream from his NAS drive. Had to use his z8 in the end. The trick I have found aswell is use decent cables not the ones supplied with the gadgets.

Totally agree regards cables, the TV i last bought had no cables, you had to buy Seperate. I done a review on cables on TK years ago..
But it wasn't the most expensive cables that I thought were the best.
Sonic link interconnects were exceptional.

on my sammy, all of the ports are 4k, only difference is port 4 which is hdmi-arc

I've had my receiver a few years and it cannot passthrough 4k. So when I'm watching TV or say on the PS5 using HDMI 1, my receiver is set to TV and receives sound from the TV.

But I can also put the TV onto HDMI 4 for the receiver, and connect an additional 4 devices through the receiver, albeit at 1080p
