all VM channels gone off?

Fair enough lol.

seems like whenever I took a test out before it was the same streams playing from different providers. Same watermarked channels. Maybe there’s different out there

99% not. local streams are nigh on impossible to capture and provide on a server by server basis in relation to cost.

the branded streams you see across providers are generally highly stable, its how your server supplier supplies them that make them stable or not.

I've been experimenting with IPTV since sports went off Vermin. I've only tried 4 providers so far (all TK vets) but I find it very frustrating. Sources seem to change from day to day. The one I'm on now is poor I think but I don't know any better really, maybe it's as good as it gets. Before lockdown it was a chore to find a stable 3pm match stream, sometimes have to switch away then back to unfreeze. The actual Sky sports channels are usually dire picture quality (juddery) and every couple of days there's a different icon in the corner.
When VM had issues recently I used the IPTV for the ones I couldn't get on VM. Lots have 'HD' in the name but are only SD. I was just now trying to watch ITV 2 HD actually (mindful of VM going for good) and it kept pixellating and freezing. ITV4 HD has the snooker on but today there's no sound! I like Nat Geo HD but that breaks up a lot too. I can put something like BBC1 HD on and it's fine all day in glorious 1080p, but I don't need BBC1 HD do I. It just seems that whenever I try to actually watch something on it, rather than just flick through, it's turns to crap.
My internet is fine (100M wired to box) and I get the same results on my Enigma2 box as on my 4k Firestick so it's not the device.

I see people on here saying that IPTV is nearly as good as cable, but for me it's been a million miles from that.
Just unlucky I guess? Are there providers (perhaps specialising in a UK-centric service) that could actually replace VM, rather than give me 1000s of foreign channels in languages I can't understand? Oh and midget porn. Don't forget the midget porn.

Dont think its as good as sat or cable, but its finding that good service from a decent provider that is crucial, but it is possible, theres plenty out there, just need to keep on looking

i much prefer iptv to sat or cable, maybe not euro sat as it was years ago as i only really use it for sport.

the missus however likes having 150,000 series and movies on demand. me, i cant be arsed as i only watch sport

Well if you guys think there are good suppliers out there I'll keep trying I guess.... (y)

(I was joking about the midget porn, sort of. A trial I had a while ago had that channel on it!)

I was told that the midget porn is available through TK Vets but for the more extreme stuff you need to get your IPTV from one of the VIP members.

At least if it does go, we have been warned and we expect it this time, for sports fans then its already gone, if you watch the movie channels , you can still use the E2istream plus Android aps for movies and tv shows as well as other options, still plenty on Eurosats, 1w has c-more movies, series, sports, nordic version of sky, more or less, 19e has the german sky sports in HD, Sky movies HD, Sky Atlantic HD and Sky one HD, many more, but you have to wonder are they gonna stay around for long, hopefully they are, then of course its iptv, still great for movies and series and sport if you dont mind it being a bit behind live play, still plenty of choice for everyone, one things for sure, I wont be taking out a sky or VM sub out any time soon, not at their over inflated prices.

Many options still for people for live tv/sports, movies, shows etc.

Yes will be a blow with cable c/s going but with free apps, plex vod, IPTV, accounts, euro sats etc you have still options.

Would never go back to those thieves even if they paid me.
