Can sky tell if you have a box on I was with sky about six months ago now I have put a dm800 on and the next thing i get a bill from sky for o.oo then says sky subscription 23/4/2013 £36.40 which is about the time I put the box on ???
If your subscription was cancelled. you have to wait for a month before sky cancels it. If your subscription was running and you remove their box. they charge you thinking you are cheating by moving your box to another property. I think Sky charge per box and its not transferable unless you tell them 1st. may be wrong but that is my understanding of sky.
