No but getting a pedal is another as system would need to be blead to release air trapped to give you a firm pedal.
Sometimes a 2 person job and brake fluid is corrosive paint remover.
Did you lube it up to check first?
That might be your release fork the indent on top is where that slave cylinder pin sits.
Notice the big one inside the gearbox where a ball sits to pivot the arm and that also can dry up.
A squirty oil can with a flexible spout i have run oil slowly down the arm on other side of that unit to lube up the bigger rocker ball.
