Really? why is it so difficult then?

This is not really an option they live 200 miles away just down for xmas and even plugging in the cables for the box takes them long time so no way they could mess about flashing.

If you read the instructions this image is designed to swap non working HD channels from sat with working ones from cable - it also uses a custom xml file for channels so having just one feed won't work.

If they are able to connect the vm feed once installed why not just setup this image and wait until then but you say it takes them a long time to plug in just a cable so when the vm is installed it is going to be more than just plugging in a cable ad you will need to split the feed etc

This is why I do not see why it wouldn't work with just a sat line wouldn't it just be a case of the hd channels will not work so it's the same as other sat people anyway?

The vm feed wont be installed for a while it's xmas/new year they want tv and vm can not do the install until 19 Jan and they do not need to split the feed they are having it installed then cancelling the service so the cost will just be install.
 
Quick question, is it possible to be able to go straight onto All Channels when pressing epg (or another button) on your remote?

So, basically to have it similar to a Sly remote, where you'd press TV Guide/Planner.

It's the custom.xml that will cause issues if you disable your vm feed and scan sky only it may cause errors because when it creates the bouquets the custom.xml will be looking for the vm channels only way to find out is test it for yourself.

If you view channels in the all channels bouquet then it will stay in that bouquet when opening the guide. It will only open the bouquet you last used

Merry Christmas, your build is amazing

But I recently upgraded to the newest one, and I am having difficulties, I have put my line in newcamd but on the box nothing is happening it just say "no new ecm info", I have tried ccam but nothing and older version mgcamd but they are not installing, could you please provide me with an older version of your build so I can rule out other possibilities, thank you
 
Double check your line details I don't keep the older backups but it won't be an issue with the image. Are both not working? Check your getting internet connection menu, information, network you should have a green light at the bottom.

Hi,
great bit of software...im new to this and it flew on thanks very much for your hard work.
one thing i cant get my head round is cams...i have a h2h with both lines. im not sure if this is how its supposed to work by i have only one cam active, it switches between lines as needed ie vm for hd and sat for sd..is this right.

Yes that's correct either 2 nlines beginning with CWS = in newcamd.list or 2 clines in CCcam.cfg

<PREV and NEXT> don't switch to the next bouquet for me. Should they?

Pressing TV crashes the EPG too.

No swapping bouquets for me!
 
Have a look at the first post where it says epg button layout ive changed 2 and 8 to go up and down epg and you can choose what the colored buttons do but previous and next should still work.

I may change it back to how it used to be if you want you can unzip this View attachment EpgSelection.py.zip and ftp epgselection.py to usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens reboot box and next and previous should work and ch up/down should skip pages on epg.

Re didn't see the comment about pressing tv button can you ftp home/root/logs zip and upload the latest crash log.

I've just installed this on a h2h for my brother - the cable feed wasn't live so was getting tuner lock error in ABM but the Sky side seems to be working fine. I know a few peeps have asked this question before so here you have your answer. Just disable Tuner B and all should work okay. However when going through the setup process I did not find anything in Job Manager when pressing RED, Plugins, Job Manager - is that a problem or will it be fine? Also in Plugins, Download the +feeds was not showing for picons - so could not set picons up.

Oh yes, one other question - is Sky 3D channel available and if so what channel/bouquet will it be in?

Double check that your using this image menu,information about it should say openatv. If your getting tuner lock on tunerb thats a cable issue and disabling it means your not getting vm just sky.

Again check it is this image you've downloaded the job manager should have customupdater.sh to download the custom.xml obviously you don't want it to download the xml file but you must have deleted it. No there's no sky 3d channels we don't get hd on sky so we won't get 3d
