I can't find my own area Shipley, so I've gone with Leeds?

If your using the same usb stick for your storage device make sure that you remove the zgemma folder before you start the box or it might reflash

I did the following from the guide

no need to generate other bouquets apart from generate main bouquet should be yes
Green to save.
Start scan. Wait.
Exit all
Hold power Restart

Then the box showed an network error screen in white text..."your receiver encountered a software problem and needs to be restarted, Your STB will restart in 10 secs' and theres a log underneath that that looks like a MS DOS screen in white text?

Under the 'Sly UK area section' there is only North Yorkshire, the only other options are 'North West Yorkshire' but there is no 'West Yorkshire' itself, I'm from West Yorkshire but its not showing and for VM UK area my home town is not showing, the nearest town is Leeds 10 miles away

No I use north west yorkshire hd and I'm from Leeds and that works for me as I say it needs to be hd not custom or sd. Have you got a network connection? Menu, information, network you should have a green light at the bottom.

Can you ftp home/root/logs and upload it here in a zipfile
 
I've got network connection, i've done automatic service scan thats picking up channels found approx 900 plus, at moment going through VM but when I go to view channels inc even free air to view, nothing shows up and comes up with SID. Soon as the service scan is done, will send the log.

I need Shipley/Bradford - the nearest is Leeds which is far away

Try autobouqetesmarker again. Someone used leeds for there net id from Bradford and that worked for them if not post in the netid thread someone will tell you.

Have you got anyone else who has vm tv they should be able to tell you the netid
 
Under 'virgin uk your network id' i can't manually input my network id which is 409061 and moving left/right does not bring it up, nearest is Leeds?, I need Shipley or Bradford.

I will get the log sorted for you :)

Under the ABM section I'm on the 'Virgin (UK) your area' section now

00001 is showing as West Yorks and moving up the numbers Bradford is not showing, I've moved left/right to try for 40961 and it comes up as '40961 Barnsley 600mhz (Barnsley 1)

Is there a way to manually input the code in because I'm trying the numerical numbers on the H2H pad and nothing is happening

Bradford is showing up as 40961 are you adding a extra 0 mate.

O.k I tried 40961 (for Bradford) showing as Barnsley on ABM, it came up with the same error screen in white text and the box restarted in 10 secs, so I exited out, restarted the box and let it reboot up. No idea if thats worked or not?

But I'm now doing the setup EPG and after the download screen, which shows reading channels, I've exited after the screen went back to the tv channel and an 'Error, service unailable, check tuner configuration!' error is showing.

I'll try restart, see if thats loaded the EPG

That's an issue with your tuner setup vm cable in tuner b top left and sky cable in tuner a bottom right

Could the connector thats used for the cable/sky lead be causing this issue?

What's your setup? One sky lead coming from the dish to tuner a and are you using a splitter for the vm feed? You should have an rf adapter in the cable tuner b bottom right
 
VM lead going into RF In and SLy lead going into Tuner In at the back of the box.
Not using a splitter for VM feed, lead going in direct to back of box
Adaptor for the Sly lead that goes into the back of the box

What seemed strange was the EPG setup, after selecting Cross EPG, it was showing as reading channels for less than 60 secs and then returned back to the t channel
