Yes excellent prices as people are reselling the 270 at £100... and these and the sticks are like rocking horse poop...get one if you're in the market

One is sold under license by Walmart and the other under Thomson but the price difference is noticeable lol.

My thoughts exactly but the yanks have gone mad for the Onn devices to replace their FS’s.
Looks like Europe may do the same.
Onn 4k plus has a better SoC than the Pro with the Amlogic S905X5M but it only has 2gb RAM and no Ethernet port but Thomson don’t sell that model yet.

FACT said it "constantly monitors the digital landscape to combat illegal streaming activities in the UK and Ireland."
"We utilise a range of methods to identify individuals engaged in unauthorised businesses that offer access to illegal streams," it adds in a statement.
"One of these methods is through our partnership with Crimestoppers to make it as easy as possible to report illegal streaming, and over the past year, we have seen a significant increase in the number of reports directly linked to Fire Sticks and illegal streaming.
"These reports are then investigated by our Intelligence Unit, and followed up with a rolling programme of action which includes issuing ‘Cease and Desist’ letters and conducting nationwide ‘Knock and Talks’.
“These home visits, undertaken in conjunction with law enforcement, serve to inform individuals about their activities and the immediate need to cease and desist or face further action or prosecution.

FS 4k's have always been the GOAT bang for buck....come on yes the shield is a great bit of kit but for 99.9% of the users a massive overkill and far too expensive.
These Thomsons are cracking value the spec for the cash is excellent.
The price and simple small factor set up is what the FS was and is all about.

I suppose governments could put pressure on them, but they are all under different jurisdictions.
So it’s gonna be difficult to enforce a law that applies in one country when the company resides in another country.
I mean you don’t even have to go to the official website to buy VPN and you can purchase them cheap from a marketplace site like g2g if you like the risk of that.
