GrogBuild Grogbuild 6.4 update?

The usb is corrupted, you've been trying it for over a week, a new SanDisk is less than a tenner
I got delivery of a new SanDisk 32MB as you recommended, though I still think my other one is 100%. I opened it today, formatted exFat on my Windows machine, inserted it into my Forumler1 box, initialized it via the openwix interface. Then from putty I ran:

wget --no-check-certificate -O install_vix.sh http://www.willobuild.net/files/scripts/install_vix.sh && bash install_vix.sh

This resulted in failure with message no space left on the device:

root@formuler1:~# wget --no-check-certificate -O install_vix.sh http://www.willo build.net/files/scripts/install_vix.sh && bash install_vix.sh

You formatted it to exfat?

FAT32

It looks like the box is not utilising the usb and trying to download to the box internal flash, this is not big enough.

If you have a different usb port in the box, put the usb in that and try again (after the FAT32 formatting)

Thanks for sticking with me, this is hard.
Maybe I got confused. Ok. I formatted it again to fat32 and then initialized it. Mowed the SanDisk to the USB port at the front of the machine. I re ran wget:

So it's flashed successfully now?
I was under the impression from all the messages that the installation had not finished correctly, but if it has from above read out, that's great news.
tbh, I was expecting to have to do more user input at the install like when doing the GrogBuild install where you had to select a sky region, IPTV, and pick a skin.
No, I was left with a screen to restore a backup and I said no. then the setup wizard. I think I resized the screen right and it was bigger than my screen. I wasn't sure about all the options and now it's 52% scanned and found 489 channels. There might have been an option to only find tuned-in channels.

I've never used willobuild or openvix so not sure of the options during setup.

As pointed out earlier in this thread, Grogbuild only goes up to atv 6.4.
If you can't get Willo/openvix working to your satisfaction you can still use openatv but not Grogbuild, setting up openatv yourself without the use of grog or woosh is fairly straightforward

FULL INSTRUCTIONS

Once you have finished the wizard press blue button, vix image management then backup manager choose the willobuild backup and restore it.

930 channels installed now, it's looking to add plugins? I was hoping all this would be included in the willoBuild?
I need to follow those WilloBuild pdf instructions, that's the issue :-(
Do I have to redo the wget or is there a way of kicking off the restore question again

Skip the rest of the wizard then blue button vix image management as per above.

Once willobuild has restored follow the rest of the guide to setup ABM etc

FULL INSTRUCTIONS

That worked out, installing WilloBuild with OpenVix 6.4. There were a couple of sections in the FULL INSTRUCTIONS that did not quite work as the instructions, here's some feedback/issues:
  1. I went with 1080 and did not get an option this time to adjust the screen. As a result only the bottom 3rd of the bouquet name is visible and the options at the bottom are only partially visible also. How can I adjust in the settings?
  2. Picons: show in channel list was not an option (non issue)
  3. My storage was mounted as /media/usb, I updated the USB storage to map to /media/hdd as instructed
  4. Press blue bottom and select 'AUTOBOUQUETMAKJER SCANNER" - this step was done automatically so was not needed
  5. OpenTV forced download does nothing when selected, it goes back to BBC 1 every time it's tried. I know it's meant to last 10+ minutes whatever it's meant to do?
I think #1 is the only real issue. Any more help much appreciated!!
