I can't believe the different to be honest its perfect no buffering nothing ,, as for the booklet I can't make head or tail of it its not very good to be honest what I would like is for some kind person who is running a vu+ 2 duo box and a picture of where the cables go ie that loop wire ,, cadkid can I pm you about lines cheers mate
 
you cant use the loop wire unless you buy extra cable tuners.just store it in the box with all the other stuff if you sell it in a few years time,lines are requested in those sections as i cannot say m8.
 
Push fit for the cable tuner, screw this connector into the end of your VM cable, then push
on to the cable tuner on the box. (You may need a splitter kit to get a feed to your router
too.

F screw connector to LNB in on sat tuner.

Forget the loop connection.

In the menu, make sure you sat tuner is configured to 28.2E

Also make sure you have VM and Sky UK set as providers in ABM. (See the guide)

Hi bees just check providers and sky was on no , changed to yes and scanned and found 390 channels on the vu+duo 2 box a is cable b is sky how do I get to b to view what is on sat
 
You put sky and VM in providers, scan in ABM.

In favourites , you should then have a list of groups, sport, films, kids etc.

If you keep scrolling down the groups it will be repeated.

One set should be sky, the other virgin, depending on the providers "order"

When you choose a channel you will see tuner A or B in the bottom right of the screen so you know which
one the box is using,

I use three Providers, so my list is repeated three times.

VM (select your area)
Sky UK ( select your area) I use the SD version of the channel list
Sky ROI select the SD version of the channel list ( Setanta Sport in the Irish bouquet)

From the amount of channels you have I suspect you are only getting cable channels at the mo,
I get over 1000 channels on the three providers.

When you scan it will show you the providers down the bottom of the screen

Omg bees done that I get in provider freesat, Kabel,, sky roi, as well as sky uk and virgin clocked yes on sky roi area roi hd and got even more channel including setanta sports is it worth doing Kabel nl as well cheers for your help mate must say this box is unreal

What do u do if u have a n line for cable, and a c line for sky?

and you have a C line for sky in Cccam??? what box do you use?

and you have a C line for sky in Cccam??? what box do you use?
 
No i dont pal, i have a n line for cable and a n line for sly, you cant have both cos you cant have two cams running along side each other.
 
You can only run one cam at a time. But CCcam will run both C and N lines.

Put both lines, C and N in CCcam.cfg file and FTP to ETC folder, run the lines with CCcam 2.3.0

However, check with your line supplier as some cable servers don't allow you to
run their lines in CCcam they only allow MgCamd

I think some people where re sharing there lines in the early days so MgCamd
started be used as standard for cable.

Guys just reading all the posts for info , have vu dou2 , l have done a lot of setting up thanks to the excellent tuts and replies, just a problem at the moment I'm using the TV button and then all at the bottom to get list of channels which gives a long list for eg I'm getting a long list of numbers first and for say bbc1 I getting list of variations for the same channel , when I press the epg button I just get a blank screen , so I'm do something wrong , guys if anyone can give me help , would be mighty grateful thanks again guys for all the help

did you setup box to run abm scan for your area as we dont use the all list but the abm bouquets list to choose from.

Getting a little confused at the part were it says type in your net id don't understand that part ?

try roi only
 
need to check if your using sat tuner box or cable tuner side,cable side differs and needs a file added for irish cable if thats where you are.
