Opened up H7S and stuck in a 1TB SSD inside but had no screws to secure it , box does not see San Disk storage ?

Is it critical to needs securing to chassis to work?
Box has been rebooted and still not seen

Wouldn't think it was crucial,the screws are the same as the ones securing case I think, couldn't you take one out the back and secure it with one? What would be crucial is the connection between ssd and box

I did not think crucial is why i asked and wondered if i had it in there before and not worked.
Tight connections on the plugs. So it looks like take it out of box again.

When you say reboot did you power off at back? Also double check the conenctions on the ssd ie before powering back up, make sure ssd is connected snugly to cable. You can turn disc so fitting is snug. Close lid and then power up. If still no luck have you another image on box that you can try?

make sure the power for the drive is plugged into right connector or it wont power up

The 2 cables were sitting in there awaiting link up and assuming were plugged in there before box was opened up .

Opened up box again and seen with strong magnifying glass i was not in correct white socket and now changed to correct port and powering it up now .

The Zgemma H7S I have has a slot at rear for SSD no need to open but I did fix an older version with internal HDD and leads can be a tight fit. Wiating on result🤔

Mine is internal later boxes have slot in rear.
Yes cables are a tight fit indeed.

Yes it is working as now i need to get image downloaded to box and setup on another slot.
