IPTV supplementing cardsharing

Newbie
Is it possible to run both iptv and ordinary cardsharing e.g. mgcamd on the same openvix box.
I have a capped internet and would go over my limit if i went full iptv.
I would use the IPTV only for the missing channels .e.g sky sports

Would you not still hit your cap if your only watching sky sports?
Depends on how much you watch

Or spend a few more pound a month and make it unlimited

Unfortunately im out in the sticks and the only options i have is 1mb unlimited or 10mb 300gb.
I would probably only be using the IPTV channels less than 15 hours a week.

Im going to purchase a month of iptv and see how i get on.

Send on any good providers that you know of

Thanks

Ah, fair play!
300gb per month ordinarily would be fine, but a few hours a day of a FHD stream.....

According to Netflix, using their “High” data usage setting runs through 3 GB per hour when streaming High Definition (HD) videos and 7 GB per hour for Ultra HD. The “Medium” setting only uses 0.7 GB per hour for a Standard Definition (SD) video ( copied and pasted from the web) similar for IPTV depending on compression rate of video stream I think. Happy to be corrected though

Thanks for all the help
I have found a few m3u8 files online and rewrote them as .txt and have them now running on the box.
They are fairly choppy and sometimes take a few refreshes to load so i think its still worth paying for IPTV?
