GrogBuild Just updated to Grogbuild and now box wont do anything.

or I would still try fomatting usb to ext4 and downoad openatv and put it on another usb with force try installing from that.

Just tried that with no joy. The ext4 USB in the front and the FAT32 USB WITH OPEN ATV 6.4 in the back port and still just the same.

Sorry mate running out of ideas I would still have though someone would know what you could remove via Filezilla but perhaps that is not possible , still assuming it is corrupt installation and not hardware.

I still dont get the fact you need an initialised usb in box normally when doing clean installation you would just have the one you are booting from with openatv. Is there no room on system.

Box needs any other usb devices removed first.8gb usb stick formatted fat 32 first and does image need to be extracted to usb? then inserted into rear of box when un powered then and do your button press.

I thought initializing usb was to get it mounted for recordings after box was reflashed and going through the wizard setup?

Filezilla wont let me login

And it was recognised and mounted.
Open terminal
Type root
Paste grogbuild command line in and click enter
Done that mate and I got this:

But nothing happened. The box didn't reboot, it didn't change from the grogbuild logo screen at all. It just sits on that screen 100% of the time and the time on the front of the box is frozen still from when it boots up when I turn it on.

I read this thread with interest because last weekend I went through a similar situation with my Zgemma h2h. I was on Wooshbuild and openatv 6.3 and thought I would try Grogbuild as I would be upgraded to 6.4 at the same time. Did the upgrade from Openwebif and terminal as per instructions but the upgrade would not handle the mmc 32Gb memory card and no channels showing. As a fix I downloaded Openatv 6.4 for this h2h box dated 20th April onto my Win 10pc and then onto a USB 16Gb Fat32 with the Zgemma directory as root to flash the box from the back USB and start afresh. Had real problems getting it to flash as it would just boot up. Had to insert the power cable into the back of the box and when the front display showed USB push the front power button. After a few attempts eventually it showed flash and loaded fine. I have flashed this box before and don't remember having had these problems.

And it was recognised and mounted.

Hi plz restart your internet and box and then try.

No joy for me mate, tried 4 branded USBs and it wont flash at all. Box just says BOOT and then loads up.
