latest news just posted 850

Still no joy for me converting to IP address. Had tried this initially anyway. I got my line to connect briefly by adding the web address but no channels were clearing.
 
mine just connected,, exit screen go to sky 1 cleared in bout 5 secounds

This file I have Newcamd_14-08-15.bin ?

Is this for the A780 ?

I assume I load it with the original loader and null modem cable lol

Ahh takes me back in time to when I was a wee lad ROFL

Still waiting for an old 780 to arrive, cummon Ted people are waiting lol

So I assume I load the bin file using the loader then add the line in like so

You get this from provider

Convert web address provided to ip and enter this on first option
zzzzz is your port
xxxxx is your user id
yyyyyy is your password
0102.... Without spaces
Active = yes
wait for couple of minutes
not connected should change to connected

you are good to go

Will have to find a scart lead, bloody technology lol
 
Tried a few ways but cant get it to connect. with IP or with host name.

using mgcam

How important is the first 0 in the DesKey? after i put in the number without spaces it disappears !

turns into

any ideas?

Success at last!

This was driving me nuts. :whacko:

For my line I entered the web address (i.e. server.com) in the Server IP field and the deskey had no spaces
 
for the 780 i put software over with null cable, ask my line server can i use the same details has the a850, he said ok, done the same now all working

you could even use your cable providers line on any box with a cable tuner like e2 boxes as long as you have multiroom and use nline.
not heard anyone with a cline working.

curious if the quality has changed from kv server to your new provider,glitching what was that lol.

Is server IP entered as host address (joebloggs.com) or converted to IP address?

when you enter Des Key with no spaces, does it remove the first 0 after its been entered?

Do you know what type of line you have requested?

Sorry for all the questions but its also sending me nuts as this should be straight forward!

The only thing that is different is the deskey has NO spaces everything else is the same as the server gives you.Nlines are working fine.
 

i had to enter ip, wellin had to use name
deskey 0 dont dissipearer
tbh i dont no what type of line i have think its n, plz soneone correct me
