Motorised dish setup problem no signals

When your satellite dish motor are facing south or as close to south Make sure the
Motor satellite dish are directly in line and
Square You will notice a line down the motor Use it as a guide Then move the satellite dish to 0.8 west You will.notice the
Satellite dish will move slightily Then move
Motor left or right and the dish elevation up
Or down To recieve the maximum s.n.r
on the transponder

If your bracket is exactily 90 degrees all round .Turn your motor satellite dish ,in line with true south or as close to true south.
Make sure the satellite dish motor are in line and totally square on the bracket.Then drive your satellite dish to 0.8west.your satellite dish should only move slightily
Then move the motor satellite dish left or right and the elevation of the satellite dish up and down ,until you get the maxium s,n,r on the transponder
Then move the satellite dish to 28east Check your s.n.r on the transponder Bend your satellite dish up to see if your snr improves
You might have to adjust the elevation of the satellite dish slightily Then move the satellite dish back to 0.8 west Check the snr is still i high value
Then move the satellite dish to 30 west check the snr make any necessary adjustments.If your not getting high enough s.n.r between these transponders
You will have to adjust your motor latitiude ever so slightily to increase the s.n.r on all the transponders

Hi,

Today is the best day I could do to work on my dish. I can't do it tomorrow or other day because it will be raining.

I have checked on the motor set as it is already set to zero. I have moved the dish to 0.8west.

Then I moved the dish to the west, it have improved 20% signals and I can't adjust it anymore because it will have no signals so I have moved it back and I got 50% signals which is good better than 47% signals.

Some channels got 60% signals and some got less like 50%. The gospel channel have 50% signals and the music channel have 50% signals.

Some channels have no signals so do I have to move the dish up or down until I get the signals?

I have checked the signals for 28.2east most got over 80% signals. When I select on eir sports it never worked for me so today it works. Can you get rte 1 and 2??

I have check on 13east satellite and I get no signals so I think I need to move the dish up or down to improve the signals?

I have checked on the motor elevation and motor latitude but I'm not sure if it is the correct settings. Can you please check and let me know what is my motor elevation and latitude??

And also for my dish elevation. I'm not sure what is my dish elevation so do you know what is my dish elevation??

Then with a digital compass I would move
Your motor satellite dish to 180° true South or as close to true south Make sure
Your pole mount is exactly 90° Also your satellite motor satellite dish are in line and
Square on the pole Measure the threads
Protruding from each nut to make sure they
Are the same If this is not correct your
Satellite will not track the geographical ark
Correctly Then will the built in settings with
In your reciever USALS Goto your reference
Satellite in your case it would be Thor at 0.8
West Then move the satellite motor satellite dish left or right and the dish elevation up or down till.your get the Maximum s.n.r Then goto 28 east make
Any adjustments Then bac k to Thor Then
Move to 30 west make adjustments Then
Back to Thor IF your not getting good
S.n.r on these transponders you might need
To adjust your motor latitude slightily

Hi,

Today I have adjusted the dish on the 0.8west.

I have found that my sat installer did not adjust the LNB in the correct line which caused all channels don't work.

I have adjusted it and fixed it.

All channels are now working perfectly.

Gospel channel have 70% signals.

Some channels on 16east are not working so what do I have to do now?

You could try adjusting your longitude
Slightily For example if your longitude is
0.07 east You could enter 0.04 east You
Might track the ark better

Thanks, my longitude is 1.338 so do I need to adjust it to 1.388 or what?

However I have adjusted the dish to west and east but it doesn't do anything to track the arc.

I have adjusted the dish elevation on 0.8west and I can now get 39east but some channels have weak signals and some have no signals. And i can get some channels on 16east.

It sounds like I need to adjust the dish angle?

If so which bolt on the dish bracket (top or bottom) that I can undo the nut to adjust the dish angle?

You seem to have difficulty grasping what you are supposed to do and when you report back you don't answer the questions properly. I'll put this in capital letters so it may sink in.
