Downloaded open atv 7.1 and flashed it up last night, I think it just oscam off the top of my head, don't remember the emu bit,
Looking at a couple of forums, people who had similar problems have to delete it and the files and reinstall it.

openatv7.1 is EOL (end of life) there will be no more updates for it I would backup settings and do full backup then do flash online with open atv 7.2.

Blue button on remote toget to backup settings and flash online.
 
urie is right 7.1 is a older version, flashing to 7.2 wont magically make oscam work though.

I'd probably work with 7.1 to save confusion until you get oscam working.

Where did you get oscam from? What is the exact name?

Have you installed the secret feed? If so, did you do it by command line or using an ipk?
 
On Openatv, once you install the not so secret feed, you can install softcams that are built for the image. Best to install it by command line. Sorry on mobile, so can't paste it for you.

My advice at the stage you are at:
Uninstall the osma you installed
Restart
Using "flash online " in the menu, flash 7.2. Select the upgrade option so that you don't have to do everything.
When it restarts, it will auto/fast restore
After the restart, install the secret feed
Restart
Install oscam smod This will include config files.
Then look at the server file and add your lines

Yes, still working,
Iv updated to open atv 7.2 and then followed the guide on here for the hidden feed, used that line in putty and it worked
 
Given up with oscam,
Loaded cccam 2.3.2 and everything working
Many thanks for all your help everybody, truly appreciate it
I did everything, followed the instructions and it still wouldn't have it🤔
 
Tried oscam emu to start with, a lot more stuff on the server and config files so added my line and updated but nothing,
Then tried oscam smod, same thing nothing,
Tried the cccam and entered line and worked straight away, I'm probably just doing something wrong somewere, il have more time over the weekend to get it sorted 👍😁
 
after a bit of swearing and deleting all oscams,, downloaded oscam stable from the list and installed it, went to the config files and deleted them and copied the files that Ferret sent me along with my line installed ,restarted the reciever, selected the oscam and thankfully it all worked,
thank you to all that helped, much appreciated ,
ggoing to start playing around with it now its working, already installed kiddacs slyk skin
 
Bit of a quick question,
Bought an octagon sf8008, got it running on vix but it won't let me install oscam,
So iv installed openatv 7.2 in slot 2 and booted it up, changed the language to English but the writing is in German, any ideas please 👍

If you've changed it to English the menus will be in English, if they're in German you haven't changed it to English.
Reboot it and try again

If in doubt, reboot 😂
Seems to be OK now,
Wierd 1 was it won't let me install oscam or ncam on vix 6.3 but it does on openatv 7.3 and runs nice
