Opinions on mag box

Just tested a mag254. I found it to be absolutely terrible compared to zgemma h2s for IPTV. GUI is awful compared, picture awful compared. Am I doing something wrong? What do others think?

I use a mag 256 and have set up quite a few 254 I also own a Nvidia Shield and did first try iptv on my zgemma h2s but I find the mag the best device for over all ease of use and running iptv cant fault the picture quality to be honest and it just seems to me to run so much smoother than the h2s did

Mag box performs better than the h2s. Quick & far more responsive. Picture quality should be the same on both boxes but this depends on your provider. As you said yourself Horf42, the Gui, the different skins and the EPG on the h2s are certainly a class above the Mag box. On the other hand, some people are more than happy with the basic yet simple to use user interface the Mag box provides. It really depends on one's individual preference.

I've got a 254 and it's great. no issue with it at all.

Each to there own. Coming from a zgemma with xtream editor I was shocked how clunky the interface and remote was. Also couldn't set up a decent picture, but to be fair that could be down to new provider I was testing.
