@Ferret. normally when you need to edit settings file you need to use terminal first and send init 4 then edit the settings file then init 3 and exit.

Give your image a password then follow post 4 to get connected to your box.

You haven't set a password for the box.
It's all explained in detail earlier in this thread, read back and follow the list of instructions

Navigate to ect/enigma2

the thing you said on post 4 that on the lft side are the pc/laptop files and on right are the files from the box

the thing is not hard , the hard part are for the ones that never used filezilla

Once box reboots you can check using the Dream explorer plugin on the box navigate to the same place it will show in there if it has saved.

Right hand side youll see a remote site box with /home/root at side of it

Double click the first ? mark underneath that

It's no different to using a pc/laptop.
My documents/my pictures/new folder/ holiday photos/boobs.

If you want to get to boobs folder that's the path.
The path you are going to in the box has been posted earlier.
The file you need to edit is there
