The 14 digit serial number as aloysius states is etched into the casing of the CD or cassette player, to locate this you will need to remove the unit. You should use either Autoleads PC5-83 or PC5-110 radio release keys. If your code is not available for free you can get the code from us. thank you for replying i have posted all the numbers which are on the top cover but what i noticed with a few websites if i start of with gm at the begining and don't put the last 2 digits they have come back and accepted the serial number.
