hey everyone, my girfriend bought a used opel corsa which has a philips sc201 radio in it.
but the radio is asking for a code which the seller has lost :(

could someone generate her a new code?

This radio was working fine untill the mechanic has changed the battery. So, I think it needs the 4 digits unlock code.
I'm worried because the people on this forum says that the radio is asking for the code, our radio just seems to be powered off all the time. I've tried to power it on pressing AS+Power and some more combinations. The pannel just show the time/date.

I've tried to extract the radio to get the serial number (GM0201*****) without success. I've removed the 4 front screws and tried to pull. It seems to be still locked :damn:

Thanks! I'll try to build the release keys with a wire hanger. I've read it should work...

I've tried to remove the stereo using a wire hanger without luck.
Anyone have had success on it?
