Play dvdd from usb drive on VU+Duo2

Gi Guys
Does anyone know how to play dvds stored on an external USB hard drive on my VU+duo2 .
have down loaded and installed VLC but don't know how to set it up to read the USB drive?

never done that but i would assume you have to add it to box via mount,with vix blue button,mount manager ,then it scans devices added to mount.

Yes that sounds easy but I am using Blackhole and that does not exist, I installed VLC and when you open it its looking for a server so maybe i should use Media player but again how to read from the USB.
When you open Media player it shows inter hard drive or internal flash.

one reason i dont use black hole as i usually fall in lol,with my recordings on internal hdd i can view other locations by use of yellow button.you may have to wait for others to tell you an easier way to view.

mounts manager is on blackhole however, agree with cactikid vix mounts the usb better as i had loads of problems with blackhoke. my box now works perfectly on the vix image.
