Please suggest a Windows password recovery software

Lost the password on one of my old laptops. Try to reset the password with an USB disk but it only works on the computer which the password reset disk was made.

It is Dell XPS 13, Windows 10

on win10.. id just rebuild the OS. but ofcourse in doing this, you would lose your data

Take the HDD out and plug it into a Linux machine.
If you know the PW is less than 22 characters I have about 800G of rainbow tables 👍

Have a look on youtube. You will find all sorts of tutorials and pick the ones with lots of likes and comments confirming the method works.

hirens boot cd will sort you out to reset password

hirens boot cd doesn't a good option for you,as i have never used it successfully.About Windows password recovery,you'd better ask some authoritative tools for help.

You should be able to use active password changer to reset the local windows 10 password.
