Query twice while at home phone asked for sim number to enter and luckily to hand and dreaded what happens if out and cannot remember it?
Can it be switched off on phone or need to contact Virgin Mobile to get it switched off.

That sounds like a security feature.
On my Poco mine is a password you have to enter every 72 hours or every reboot.

Have a look in passwords & security on settings see if you can change it there.

If you dial *#06# it brings up all the information about your phone.

You can also go to settings-about phone-specs and then status.

Any numbers for your phone are found in those two.

Not happened since and security was not switched on so will have to wait and see.

Redmi 9AT failure to launch piece of crap and under warranty and is getting checked out in Fonfix.

Update phone replaced and now have to add things like apps.
Working faster than when i got it.
