Trying to install apps on 4K firestick but getting above error. Any idea what’s wrong?

Check that you are connecting to your home internet with the correct information.
That also comes up sometimes when you are trying to use an amazon account it doesn't recognise.

I am connected to my home internet and my account is working fine. I am able to watch Amazon prime movies. But search function for apps is not working.
