Sky Signal Tracing

Hi All, is it possible for Sky to check if you are receiving a scrambled channel through a different source (C-Line)?
Just interested to see how this all works (Sorry I'm new to this)!!

It is possible for any provider to see what your doing But the chances of getting caught are very slim

Has anyone any experience of getting a suspicious call or a knock on the door from Sky? I suppose they are mainly interested in the providers rather than the receivers.

There was a thread on this subject a few months ago It would be better in their interests to go after the providers .

That makes sense Tich. But I think I'll write a script for the missus anyway incase they calllol

this is all my opinion and not based on any actual evience or facts but.....

I imagine they would rather go after the providers as taking out one big one would cut a few hundred or even thousands of people off...also, in court they are more likelly to get an outcome they prefer and possibly recoup some money, where as going after the individual users would probably be a waste of time and money.

I disconnected all my official boxes though just incase they started communicating back or something....Probably could never happen but id rather not take the chance...
