People think imposing lockdown and other pandemic measures is the same globally.
This is not the case.
India cannot lockdown for any length of time due to the majority of people living hand to mouth. Most of them are day labourers who get paid at the end of each day worked.
Missing a week or more means no food for their entire family. They have no welfare system to speak of and obviously no savings or any other type of support in place so have no choice but to go out every day
It's a catch 22 situation mate.
Get what your saying such measures can't be imposed the same worldwide.
But if the population are going to election rallys, religious festivals, generally mixing with each other then what can be done to prevent the outbreak? Because social distancing and wearing masks sure isn't working because alot are not even doing the basics.
Apart from full lockdown or strict restrictions I'm not sure what else can be done to stop the outbreak spreading like wildfire.
