How do I move the dish to 8w though as it’s not on the menu they only 8w I have is the Thor 8w

That I can't tell you, as I don't use the viark to control my 1.2m dish.

Maybe you can add a new satellite, named 7w but input the position as 8w,

Failing that, someone else that has done it will have to tell you how.

I added it now but they don’t go green ? Do I need to add the bein transponder for 8w in 7W ?

Because as I said above, you have to trick the box into scanning them as if they are 7w and not 8w.

You Need a vip sub on your box looks like you have that and then read this

Thanks Ferret, some how I managed to update, I inserted the usb and held the reset button down, and the box automatically updated the new firmware. The other day I noticed I no longer could open the Bein channels even though I still had a couple more weeks left of vip.
Just testing Hotbird and I can open sky it even though those channels don’t go red in the channel list.

You need to trick the combo to open Bein but make sure you are on the latest Mars firmware.

With the dish at 8w you need to scan in the 8w Bein frequecies with the Combo in the 7w menu without the box going to 7w...

I added the transponder of bein 8w to the nilesat7w but I get 0% quality signal. Only when I’m on the 8w in satellite menu I get good signal but they not going green. How do I achieve this trick ?

Yeah you need to nudge the dish manually under Diseqc1.2 to 8w while your menu is at 7w

So in order to watch the 8w channels I have to nudge the dish every time to get the signal.
