VM CHANNELS FIX (23/4/2020) OSCAM ONLY!!

Menu Setup System Network Password Setup Enter new password. Save with the green button

So once I install Grog again where would I put my line and how would I activate OScam? I know where the line goes in MGcam and CCcam but I have never used OSCAM so forgive my ignorance. Been doing this for years but never could get mt head around OSCAM :-)

I'm using a Zgemma H2H with only Virgin no Sky.

Followed dsayers instructions and sat line working on mgcamd but cant get it to work on oscam?

Below is the config file, have i missed anything?

if you have oscam-emu installed then your oscam files go in /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-emu folder on the box.

i was able to access into the box via FileZilla after your advice on setting up a password

i tried to enter Oscam editor on Webif but now this does not connect I tried :8888/:88/ I did get in earlier this morning
with :83 but now nothing

if you load openwebif on the left in the extras section is there a link to oscam webinterface? if so click on it.

Yippee ok yes I can see the Oscam webinterface now

so I entered my line using filezilla in key - newcamd - cws

i also entered the script that I was sent into Oscam server restarted the box but channels blank

If you put your line in newcamd file then you should be running Mgcam as your softcam
Try that and restart to see what happens
 
Hi

i have witnessed on couple of occasions where channels are i try to access the oscam web interface but it comes up with page can not be displayed.
I end up having to restart the softcam in info panel which then kicks starts the oscam channels clear and web page is responsive

any ideas? Much appreciated

I am using the latest grogbuild oscam r11576-798 zgemma h5.2tc

its strange earlier I was able access Oscam web interface then restarted the box and now I can’t get the Oscam webinterface
in Webif I just see the standard Webif but no Oscam webinterface on the left side
why is this

You won’t need to access oscam panel if you run mgcam

I tried with mgcam like You said in your earlier post I restarted the softcam and switched box off and then on again
but no luck
i don’t understand why I the oscam webinterface does not show up in Webif
I can access the Webif page with just the standard screen with settings, terminal etc

thanks for your advice guys
will give it a go again tomorrow
 
I have a similar issue where, only certain channels work and some dont clear at all. No reader found. For example, i can clear Movies but not kids or comedy.
So i'm guessing this isnt something on my end and has to do with the server. :unsure:

Your CAID is wrong on your sly_line
Change the following:
caid = 1841
to
caid = 0960,0961,0963

You need to make sure your running the oscam softcam then try to access openwebif and you should see the oscam interface.
