Interesting to see how people rate brands and not manufacturers
A bit like folks won't buy a Toshiba TV cos Panasonic are better, but a Panasonic TV actually may have Toshiba bits in it.

Sorry, I disagree, That’s like saying why buy an Aston Martin if they have Mazda and Jaguar parts, just buy a Mazda instead?

just because some parts are made by a different manufacturer, it doesn’t mean the brand isn’t worth its while. The whole design is driven by the brand regardless of the manufacturer where the parts are sourced

The point being, is your Prada sunglasses apart from the badge, is not manufactured by Prada.
Aviator, is that not pinched off Rayban ? Pop a pic up of ya pradas,

For the luxury type of products you always pay more for the name than the actual product.
Oakley Romeo, juliet X-metal series, were made at a loss, Tom Cruise made the X-metal range desirable in Mission Impossible 2. Only after the movie release they were mass manufactured in USA . Pair on ebay now £3,500. Or a pair of beaters £350. & further £300 to restore.
You would need box receipt coin all original paperwork to obtain top money.

I have Oakley fives squared
Think the lenses are slightly peeling in the corner
Can I get replacement lenses for these or should I just get a new pair
A Different model maybe but something similar 08E91B11-4FE3-400C-A849-1B625BA07BA2.jpeg507540F7-8FDA-4845-B262-11E53CBBC573.jpeg

Just popped the lenses out and give them a good clean and they come up good
Think it must have been dirt in the corners making me think they were peeling
Might look into a different model for a second pair but still Oakley and similar to these
Don’t think the lenses I have in these are polarized (but not sure) so might look into getting some polarized
Thanks for sending the info stuss
They look like the ones I’ll need
Top man 👍
