Which box for recording?

I currently use Zgemma h2s and wanted to switch to MAG to use with IPTV. Which box is best for recording. I already know that the supplier has to enable it but which box would be the best for me to record

I've seem some people say that the 256 is the best for recording while others say that it isn't and the 254 is better, So just wanted clarity.
Also what box do you think overall is the best for recording
