WilloBuild WilloBuild OpenViX 6.9 Series

I found openvix 6.9 never gave me channel 5. So try and get back to 6.8.

I have gigabyte and the my wife has Manhattan.

So ear ache.

CH5 have changed parameters, so just scan it and if you have abm set correctly it will replace existing, in signal finder put in 11307H, 27500, 8PSK DVB-S2 and that's what's changed dvb-s to DVB-S2, green to scan. This is what you get. job done

If the manhattan has been setup correctly then it should update automatically. Now when you said gigabyte I read it as Gigablue and that manhattan comes in 2 versions, freeview and freesat. If is defenitely a freesat box and ch5 is not working then you can do a freesat scan and that should bring it back.

Just for info and as I am doing nothing, same has happened to great movies etc just change as above and re scan.

If you want to scan using scanning function in Enigma2, update the satellites.xml file before scanning. There is an "XML update" function in the tuners/scanning menu

Alternatively, if you use ABM or AB 28.2, they do not use the satellites.xml and will obtain the tuning details from the data on the satellite.

I have now scanned both Gigablue (both satellites) and now receive channel 5. I did check XML and may of used that although not knowing what it was used for. My other problem may have been the numbers on gigablues. I have changed 1 - 8 with sitting room and bedroom 9 - 16.

Thanks Abu and bmitie

Hope we can have Manhattan now receiving channel 5?

sf8008 vix 6.9, 6.8 ,willowbuild started to get an issue playing iptv getting around 10 sec delay before stream plays 2 different providers m3u links with BMX and Xstramity plugin ,rebooted everything done fresh image vix 6.8/6.9 and double checked everything ,provider apps on Tv ,phone, tablet, etc no issue, was all working fine untill few days ago and not changed any settings or done any updates, anyone any ideas ?

Just put a basic ViX or ATV image on another partition and add your IPTV.
It will prove if there is a problem with the receiver end.

Already done that same issue with m3u links on my box ,go try hotspot off my phone to my box rule out any isp issues blocking etc

If you get the same problem on a plain image, it's not a problem with the build.
It's either a network or provider problem. Try getting a test sub from the requests section.

I have a couple of slight issues and I know they may have been covered in the previous 106 pages , when scanning in tuner reception section the channels in bouquemaker only show up the region of ITV I live at , tried everything to get them in my channel list and failed , settled for freesat at my region and ITV England Borders in sky uk scan. Is there any way to get them all listed on the channel list.

It also not adding picons to IPTV channels using bouquetmakerextreme

Any help is appreciated.

i like the set up when inside the channels etc and using it but still miss the old wooshbuild when you can press up the channel list appears with numbers and picons and chabs skins and that set up, Had to flash two H9 twins and have decided to keep using my old back up HS2 in my sitting room on the old wooshbuild with chabs lol.

Press the down button to show the channel list, then press red button to show 'all'.
Try a different picon set. If you use SNP picons, the name of the channel must match the name of the picon.
If you use SRP picons, the service reference of the channel must match the service reference of the picon.

UTF8SNP picons are a type of picon (channel logo) used by Enigma2 satellite/TV receivers.

Picon = the small channel logo displayed next to a channel/service name.
UTF8SNP refers to a particular picon naming convention/format used by Enigma2 images and picon packages.
The picon filename is generally based on the service's service reference, so the receiver can match the logo to the correct channel.
They're commonly stored in locations such as /usr/share/enigma2/picon/ or on a USB/HDD depending on your setup.
You may see different picon sets such as SNP, SRP, SRP-OSD, transparent, etc. The important difference is how the filename is constructed and which Enigma2 skin/image expects it.

Thanks , got the additional channels for ITV etc.

I am using UTF8SNP and they all match on council telly/sat freeview , I was just wondering in the bouquetmakerxtreme (BMX) function were my IPTV was added they have a section to add picons and I have did but they did not add even though it completed successfully
