Hiya all Zgemma H5. 2tc on openatv on Wooshbuild how do scan ch to get Freeview ch only

Just set up your cable tuners as DVB-T and change provider to Freeview in ABM providers.
And obviously plug a terrestrial aerial feed into the cable tuner.

No, only ch 1-5 carried by vm.
To get freeview you need an aerial
I set mine up yesterday and was surprised how many channels came in, quite a few in HD

EPG pulls in automatically. If the box is Freeview only, you can disable EPG Importer, CrossEPG etc.
Just being on a Freeview channel will pull in a week's EPG in no time.

I set my h52tc up for freeview the other day and didn't even change tuner settings, just changed providers and it worked.

Bit more farting about using H7c
I have tuner B set to vm
I plugged aerial into tuner c and set freeview Winter Hill in abm/providers
Scanned and got an error on tuner B for freeview.
I had to go to tuner settings.
In tuner B change dvb/t to not connected
In tuner C change dvb/c to not connected and dvb/t to freeview Winter Hill
Scanned and it worked fine
I didn't know Sky News was freeview

OpenATV is a proper arse to set up because, if I remember rightly, both cable tuners are also set up for terrestrial and you have to disable it.

Yes both tuners set up for cable and terrestrial at the same time.
You have to enable and disable one on each tuner to use cable and freeview at the same time

Disable virgin and enable freeview, set your transmitter and scan

you need to know what transmitter your ariel is pointing to. there is a checker on the freeview website where you enter your postcode and it tells you the transmitter you should be using

I done a service scan got the ch working but there all ch are mix up how do I organise the channels thank
