It you only ever watched Setanta ( or eir sports or whatever it is called now ) for the Saturday 3pm game then, yes, you don't need to worry that it is gone. They no longer have the rights.

What you do need to worry about though is getting whichever new channel Sky create to show the games on

How do i get these files to stop downloading as wordpads?
What do i change them to?
I thiink its because i have a similar file of which i have used wordpad to open with to edit inside

Yes thats what i mean only used setanta for 3pm games so waste of time messing about to get these channels back, just have to wait and see what channel they use for 3pms now

The config updater isn't just for the 3pm kickoff games it's to ensure that you have the latest available hd channels and any hd channels that have moved will be updated in the channel swap.
 
I even tried to grab the files of my zgemma downstairs of which has this firmware on and they are even showing on there as notepads :(
and everytime i download this its downloading as notepad.
I am trying to open these with other stuff but i have no idea how to open .pyo
Help :(
 
You don't need to open them they maybe showing up as notpad because when you choose to open files that aren't recognised windows normally ask you what program you wish to view the file in and if you select notpad you might have had an option for it to automatically open in notpad so that's why there showing as notpad. As long as the extentions showing as pyo then you should be fine
 
I know pal, and no it doesnt give me the option as i said i have this already on my downstairs one and iv got the proper files asin the bbc HD one separate, but since iv downloaded this again its opened in a total other option iv now put it on internet explorer as to notepad. - as i said since having the correct file i experimented with another file by trying to edited cleared every single download on my laptop of this to try and get another but just keeps downloading as internet explorer now. :(

- ahh i get you now - file type (pyo) - so should be ok to go ill give it a try pal thanks
 
Just a quick question should there already be a menu.pyo file in there and do i overwrite it ?

What image are you using? If openatv try a software update if vix and you've done a software update that's probably why try to replace the files
 
Do we have any latest news on the sky sports Ireland 3pm games channel.... Season starts on Saturday so they must have dedicated the Chanel by now.... Thinking we prob won't get it then [emoji20]

Use sky ireland. Ie if u go to sky roi and sky sports 5 and in epg look to Saturday 14.30pm ull see epl
