Yeah a VPN is the way to go.. I was testing service yesterday and the same, switched on during first match and All black, then turned vpn on and All cleared..... "fly low fly far" as my tradesman used to say...

It will clear with vpn as its not servers been attacked as such its end users isp thats doing the blocking hence vpn will work

My experience with VPN's, was the opposite yesterday.
Epl block started at 3pm, but couldn't connect with 3 major VPN's.
Express vpn, IP vanish and Nord.

IP Vanish did connect briefly, but was glitchy.
I tried various country IP's, just wouldnt connect.

Spoked to server, he says they should have all worked.

Running a Firestick 4k, surely this device, can handle a vpn.
Unless i need to tweak some settings.

I will try again today.

what vpn company are you using?

I had a similar problem, got the block with no vpn, activated the vpn with PIA and still the block was on. Just wondering if the ISP's are blocking the major VPN ip numbers?

I run a FS 4k, with IPvanish, Connected via Austria and not had any issues as of yet. not to say i wont in future, but dont think its anything to do with FS.. only my opinion.. Cheers

I cant see them blocking, the main vpn's.
The main vpn's are probably oversubscribed, with people trying circumvent the blocks.

Its probably best to use a smaller, less known Vpn.
So will be testing a few.

I agree, it cant be the Firestick.
I managed to connect yesterday, with Ip vanish briefly.
Via Belgium.

Currently server seems ok. No blocking at the moment.
 
Since last Tuesday I have tried 3 different VPNS, all the same result, channels work , but constantly freezing, the first 2 weeks with the blocks in operation, it was great, but not now.
 
Check mines all the time, its always off, checked it last few times, I have told people the same thing over the years mate, regarding websafe.

Had issues before and turned web safe off and even after doing that problems still persisted.

So turning that off never really worked or made any difference for me. Whether on or off makes no difference.

But again this probably comes down to each individual.

They are(Virgin ISP) blocking IP address of VPNs. When the block started all VPN servers worked. Now most dont.

Im using PIA. Ive tried most of the european servers and there blocked.

Is your PIA service working? i.e stopping the block?
