Iptv block

Nord vpn reduces my speed from 40mb to under 10mb. Thats no good for HD. And thats a uk server

France is way below 5.

Anything i can do

Different VPN's behave in different ways. you normally have a drop in speeds yours dose seem a big drop. Make sure evreything is set up correctly even restart your router if you are on a wireless connection you will experince larger drops. No matter what people tell you IPTV and wireless is not a good combination. So if you are running a wireless connection i would suggest you buy some home plugs. Only other advice is maybe try a different VPN.

I get wired connection is the most stable and is the best. But not everyone who runs IPTV wirelessly has problems. So wouldnt say IPTV and wireless is a bad combination. In fact if IPTV and services work fine wirelessly stick with it no need to change things if you are not experiencing issues.

Think about it logically if you only have 50 meg download speeds. That will be reduced on a wireless network down to about 35 meg add your VPN that could reduce it down to 17.5 meg. consider other devices connected to the network. You are going to be running into problems specailly at peak times. Obvouisly if you have much higher speeds it will be fine. Other factors need to be considered aswell for e.g how far your device is away from your router etc. People don't think when they set up IPTV and automaticly blame the supplier sometimes it is there own fault.

Agreed every house has a dead spot for WiFi my WiFi speeds drops from 25mbps on WiFi to about 18-20mbps on vpn on WiFi but don't seem to be blocked where as mates and family have same provider but different isp to me

Yes there are variables to Wifi. I am just talking from my own experience and I am sure others have other positive experiences and others negative experiences when comes to wifi.

Not everyone will hard wire every device in the household, not possible.

Depending on wifi frequency/band use such as 5ghz you will get most of your speeds but if your further away from router of course affects signal and of course speeds will be less and then VPN will drop speeds more in that situation. But for phone and tablet where ever I am get half speeds but tbh fine for me dont need perfection in terms of full speeds on those devices. But fire stick close to the router and get very good speeds on wifi.

Dead spots exist for wifi no doubt, but tbh every room I go to upstairs and downstairs do get wifi connection albeit speeds vary alot.

You can't change anything worth changing on a Vermin Media hub 3. Lots of the information on the web is years out of date and only works on hub 2

Hi Guys
Just to ask if vpns are safe and is cyberghost a good vpn to sign up to.some iptvs are being blocked by some providers at minute
Cheers Pabu.

Yes VPN are safe but might slow down as u go through another VPN country outside UK.
If u are technically oriented better fund a VPN provider with wireguard technology as it takes less resources
