TV Best UK Internet Provider for IPTV

Use a vpn. It will keep your internet speeds steady enough for iptv
Thanks Mike. I already have done though, I've tried with and without. No difference. Are there actually IPTVs that don't buffer when it's a popular channel?
If the answer to that is yes, then it's defo something my end, I just don't know what!

If the problem is during peak interest times, (top end EPL) Boxing etc the there is a good chance your ISP is internittently chopping the signal so device is constantly loading and emptying cache. The ISP can do that for any unknown server and known vpn servers. And the problem your end is that std speed test will not pick it up

Yes I doubt it's the markp111 has said they would have to cut things very slow to the point you are not getting your gaurnteed speeds. Forgot which device are you using

The easiest way to see if ISP is possibly chopping your stream is use a fire device (stick, cube etc) and run system X-Ray within Sytem Status Monitor.
The stream download speed is displayed in realtime, if it jumps up to and above the max for stream quality then dives down to 2-3mbps and back up on a cycle then you have your answer.

What app is this on to try

I'm currently with Virgin Media and use IPTV but soon moving house to an area served only by BT Lines. Never had an issue with Virgin and IPTV
I'm aware of some providers having blocks on the weekend football etc in the past. Which is the best provider for IPTV that uses BT Lines - BT, SKY, TalkTalk etc ??

Also I've been told mixed opinions that Virgin can now use BT fibre lines so there's potential that I can keep virgin? others say they are and always will be completely separate so I've no chance
AFTERNOON EVERYONE,

I have IPTV and my broadband provider is Virgin media M500 which has speeds of over 500mb but it still freezes every now and then for 3 4 5 secs and goes back those 3 4 5 secs.
The issue cant be from the broadband speed, i also swapped the Ethernet cables and HDMI cables but still the same.
i turn the broadband hub and the iptv box and turn it back on but nothing changes.

Any ideas where the issue/s are and what i can do to get it better?

Make sure that safety settings are switched off in your broadband account online.
Don't use a VPN unless your provider says you can.
Have you tried other providers to see if the same happens?

Virgin Media

With Virgin media the tool you want to disable is WEB SAFE. To do this please follow these steps.

1. Register or sign in at virginmedia.com/myvirginmedia with your primary my virgin media username and password.

2. Click on MY APPS

3. Click on OVERVIEW

4. Turn both VIRUS SAFE and CHILDSAFE off.

What do you think that will do...Will it get better?
If I get a Vpn ...how does it work?
All isp's have these 'safety' features in place, they don't actually do anything apart from snoop on your connection, stop you from downloading warez and torrents etc, another thing they do is disrupt your IPTV.

Don't bother with a VPN, I'm on VM and never needed one

You reckon if u change those settings it will fix the problem?it's not something constant...sometimes is every ten minutes but is really annoying....big upgrade from 100 mb to 500mb..changed the HDMI cables ,,Etherley cable and hasn't fixed....contacted the provider and the servers are working perfectly.
Any other way tou think it could fix it if changing the settings don't work..?

Some providers have been known to tell the odd Porkie, that's why I asked in my first reply if you had tried other providers.

Changing those settings takes five minutes and costs nothing so you should have tried that before going from 100 to 500mb.
