I purchased a TM-2600 m3 DISEQ motor which i am hoping to get set up with my 1m dish. I think they are more or less the same right?
out of curiosity how long has your 2600 lasted for since installation? Did you buy it from new when you set it up?

I have has one up for many years, they stopped making them a long time ago.

The 2300 has been up maybe 17 years the 2600 I bought new years ago and kept it on a shelf in the garage. It's currently powering a 1.3 x 1.25 dish.

Glad to know i got a solid motor. There are so many different brands out there is hard to decide which to get. I purchased a new black ultra inverto twin LNB cos the one on there prev looked a bit dead (lol)

2300 plastic gears
2600 metal gears.
Both solid units though. The 2300 got a bit of a bad rep for gear issues. This was mainly due to people putting Triax TD110’s on them and mounting them in exposed locations.
They should both last donkeys years.
