Blue screen not booting

Since this morning, my zgemma turns on, comes up with the white screen saying “open atv 6.3” then a blue screen with circle and just goes no further, the 2 screens just loop.

Please advise how to fix this, thank you

You need to reflash it. I would install willobuild on there but make sure you mount a usb or hard drive. Keep that in there all the time for extra memory and storage.

How can I find the ip address of the zgemma now that it just flashes those screens?
I would USB flash it first. Look on YouTube how to flash zgemma h9s there is a full video step by step guide from memory on there. Once flashed with openvix you will be able to find the IP address.

That is correct another guide for you below.

Zgemma H9S

I have a zgemma h9.2s

I have copied the files to the usb stick (formatted it first).

When i turn it on and hold the reset button at the back, nothing happens. The A symbol is on permanently in white, no flashing and no display on TV.

I have tried 2 different usb sticks and still the same.

If I don’t hold the reset button and turn it on, that does flash up in red and then white but it will just show the attached errors.

Any advice please

Try openatv image.
Download and unzip the newest one from here
openATV Nightly Downloads

Put the unzipped files onto formatted usb and into the box, power it on while holding standby button and away you go

I only use genuine sandisk or kingston usb drives i find other cheap brands are hit and miss.

I have not read what image version (date/number) you are trying to flash. The problem you could encounter is that the newest images have exceeded the size that lots of bootloaders allow flashing by USB. ATV have added workarounds after the new image flashes. But it sounds like you are not even getting to the flashing stage. Flashing by ofgwrite is not affected by that limitation.

If your receiver is still boot-looping, you can try and fix it and then flash from within the image if you want. I suspect the internal flash memory has filled up. to do this, you will need the IP address of the receiver. You can get this from your router and should be what it was assigned last time. You will have to use Putty to issue Terminal commands

init 4
enigma2

The last command will stop it dead in its track when it encounters the problem it is having. Post the output here if you can't work out what it is. If it is filled memory, you can delete picons and epg using an FTP program.

You probably need a different usb stick.
Not too large, 16gb is enough, format it first FAT32, then put the unzipped files on it and try again
Tried a different usb stick and it’s finally flashed it on openATV.

I need to install the jedi plugin and have gone to ‘install plugin’ and then ‘extension packages’, found ‘Jedi epg xtream’. That does not look like the one I had before.

Searched everywhere and cannot find any other plugin called Jedi, any help on this please?

That is an old plugin use bouquets maker xstream its by the same developer.

Thank you very much everyone, the box is working & channels are all back using this plugin.

Thank you to everyone!

How do I get epg, channels work but don’t show the name of the program?
BMX will create a provider that EPG Importer can use. You have to enable that newly created proviuder in EPG Importer plugin and then download the EPG.

So what do I download?
EPG importer plugin should already be installed.

You need to go in there click on blue button for sources - Tick you provider then yellow to download epg.

As i mentioned before keep a usb mounted in the box at all times for extra storage not to fill the internal memory.

In settings store EPG date to HDD
