One thing I also noticed recently:

Using external player like VLC helped reduce buffering a lot on some streams.

Also disabling unused categories made apps much faster.

I tested a few providers recently too… huge difference between them honestly.

Some were buffering a lot, others were super smooth even on live sports.

Still trying to find the most stable ones 👀

Could you recommend an app, not tivi as i have a supplier with his own sub on that, i have smarters but theres no option to edit, shorten the playlist, theres too much crap on it i dont want plus it takes ages to load. Cheers
 
If like me , you don’t use the VOD supplied with your live tv playlist , either ask your supplier to remove it first or only load live tv . I remove rhe complete vod section in iptv-editor first.

No need to use an editor any decent app will allow you to hide any unwanted sections. Live TV or vod.

I agree to an extent, but I customise all my playlists. Move channels into different groups.Re order channels in each group. Create custom groups. Rename grouos. Remove loads of unnecessary text like , Uk:,4K,FHD,etc.All done on Pc in an editor . When I load my playlist into the editor it gives me the option of loading live tv only , so the vod section is gone . Much faster and easier to do than editing in tivimate itself. The amount of editing I do , it’s a no brainer to use an editor. My 3 current play lists. I have the channels cropped on each of them from 17,000+ to less than 1800 each. Sports only.

Half decent supplier can do that. Trouble is with editors you need to check them every day in case supplier has made changes

I stand to be corrected Mike , But , with IPTV-Editor , under "Auto Updater" , you set it to upload changes from supplier , iyou can set it to upload changes to the categories that you are using and or the categories that you have removed. Also set it to upload any new categories/groups. My main list comes like most of them with I think 233 with categories/groups , I have it trimmed down to 28 groups (1325 channels) as well as all the editing of logos, channel names etc and adding EPG to some of the malaysian,thai,hongkong sports sections, together with completely removing the VOD and Series. Can't expect my supplier to do all that .

The only time I look at mine is to remove new categories that the supplier adds that I don’t want.
As mentioned iptveditor auto updates all changes if you set it to do so.

When I used IPTV editor if my supplier added say a new channel in say entertainment it would create another bouquet called entertainment with that one channel.

I haven’t had that happen tbh.
When a new channel is added it is just added to the corresponding category.

It’s the mobile version. There is no official android tv version.
Just modded version and some suppliers provide it with their services.
I personally prefer Tivimate tbh.

Yeah , thanks. I have tivimate on all my boxes apart from the Z12 mini that I have with mytvonline3. Close between the tow forme. Tivimate wins on its more customias customisable options > Mytv is better aesthetically for me. I like the blue and yellow theme. Closest to the classic sky theme I loved on enigma skins.
