Just follow the tutorial when your box arrives and you will be fine ;)
If you get stuck just start a new thread in the "general cable" section and give as much detail about what you have done so far
and members will help you out
👍
You will need a line (subscription to a server) for your box
You can post a request
here
Basically what you are going to do is use the setup wizard to set up your HDMI and internet connection.
Then you are going to use Autoboquet maker in the menus so you get a nice neat channel list split into groups like sport, films, kids etc.
You will then scan for channels, you will need your "net id" for cable.
Then you are going to add a plugin to the box called CCcam or MG Cam or both.
After that you will use a program called filezilla to transfer your line details to your box.
You can do the steps in slightly different order if you want but you will need to do all of them.
Finally you will switch on the cam and then you can sit down and relax lol
Your welcome, we all started out the same way
👍

It's a lot easier when you have got the box in front of you, so you can just chill for now.
You can start pulling your hair out later lol
You don't have to, just follow wheelos tutorial.
In the mean time you need to find out your net id and look for a server that you like the sound of.
You can then get a test line to try when your box comes.
Most tests are free and last 24 hrs so don't ask for one too early.
You pay a server a subscription fee, he sends you a bit of code, we call a line.
You put the line in the box and it allows you to unlock all the scrambled channels.
Have we got this far and you didn't realise you need a server ??? lol
All boxes need servers to work, the encryption systems changes about every 7 secs
so the boxes can't keep up, long gone are the days when it could be done at the box.
That's why your box is hooked up to the net so the server can send you the information
it needs.
The box connects to the kryptview server, it's in with the price of the box.
If the server goes down the box is a brick.
With these boxes if your server goes down, you just go to another server.
The service is generally much better and a lot more stable than the KV boxes, look in the KV section
at all the comments at the moment.
Server details can only be passed on by PM, don't mention details on the open forum.
Does the box work well with wifi
Direct ethernet cable from router or a pair of homeplugs
if your router is in a different room to the TV is best.
WiFi can be hit and miss
