Use the dreambox control center software it will pick it up automatically and it has an ftp client built in.

EDIT: Regarding the usb flash problem see my later post to use diskpart to clean and format the usb, this should work.

Sadly I'm having the issue where after a few months the box freezes and the epg data wont load and the box becomes slow. I then have to reflash the box setup my usb and add my line again. Not too much of a hassle but when gf is in from work wanting to watch tv and I have to keep mucking about with it shes not happy especially if her crap programs are on, she thinks I'm doing it on purpose. HAHAHAHA.

Can someone please help me out. The channel description on my ZGem is not showing anything and its blank when I press the listing button on the remote. Only the title show minus the description. Also the back button which should show the history zap shows a blank history zap. Many thanks

You will probably need to do a low level format on your usb. Download HDD guru low level format onto your computer and do a full format when that's finished do a full windows fat32 format .

I Can 99% guarantee this will work for the usb flash problem.

1. plug in your usb
2. go to run or click start and type cmd (get a commend prompt)
3. type: disk part (it will open a new cmd window)
4. Type: list disk
5. it will show your disk and a number type: select disk 2 (if 2 is your disk look at gb size)
6. type: clean
7: type: create partition primary
8. type: active
9: type: format fs=fat32 quick
10. once complete type exit and then go to your usb as usual from my computer & copy over the zgemma folder
11. turn off box with power button on back put in usb then turn on the button.
12. it will say FLASH

13. grab a beer you earned it.

Using disk part as above works for me on every box and usb I have tried. Post back once you have done this to help others too ;)

iv just installed this but mgcamd just will not work for some reason iv tried 1.38 and 1.35a , rebooted router and box but still doesnt work
 
I have re flashed with the new image and when I delete sly sports hd from boutique when it does a scan they come back I never had this problem with other images can someone help please

Thank you so much! This worked on my inegral 16gb sticks which i thought was useless as i continually tried with hdguru. i do think it needs to be a sticky!!
 
couple of issues here, epg for vm cant seem to get downloaded no dvbs nims found.
Zgemma has recognised by 8gb pen drive. when asking to change skin to red hd it says restart by gui. Ive noticed on the flash info it says never restart by gui!
SNR rate 20-30% AGC 6% when the same feed had 82% on my last box. sky sports 1 hd bearly watchable when all others are pretty much glitch free.
I think I'm nearly there just need these final pieces to finish off a [pretty decent little box

You can start with GUI remember you have to start your cams in softcam manager again

Mgcamd does work fine. User error/ line problems.


Deleting a channel while keeping abm scan on at night will always replace deleted channel every night.

Sky sports one HD watchable?

I'm lost with this usb flash, there is no Glagow ntl 6887 symbol rate on the provider. When using autoboquets I can HD and no FTA, the FTA is checked and the HD is checked.
has anyone got a guide how to scan for Glasgow ntl only 6887 not 6952 which is for Telewest. Think the sooner this is added the better for anyone with ntl I'm afraid
