Just Updated to the latest build and cant seem to be able to connect via FTP. Any idea why?

Cheers woosh, thought I'd upgrade to V4 beta & went great with no issues until I got to the transfer line process (didn't really need to do it as the restore back-up settings had already done it's job & all channels were working), followed as per instructions & was not seeing the file. Decided to swap back to my "old faithful" usb that I had been using & "hey presto" all working. Serves me right for trying an untested usb stick! Just thought I'd mention it so that others are aware & don't immediately start thinking it is a software/ line issue.

Hi guys, got a weird issue - when I try to flash online I get a http not found message... Tried everything I can think of, network tests ok, shows software updates available etc, but won't flash.
Could it be anything to do with the fact that I have a proper routed /24 subnet, and I'm not using NAT? Only thing I can think of... Any suggestions welcome! Thanks!

Sorry, more info... Can FTP to the box ok, can log in with shell access and ping external IP addresses and hostnames etc...

Run the AutoBouqets E2 step again, but this time after you press menu and select your region, press down once and change Numbering system to HD (left or right on the remote).

This may mess up your channels, it is not advised.
The Guru - Look at the H2S thread for V4, there is a list of FAQs, one of which tells you how to change the speed of the remote when changing channels using the numbers.

Hello, Wooshman, First of thanks for the build works a treat great work, i am having one small issue i have followed all the steps for the picons over and over they seem to download for ages so i leave it to do it but when it finishes downloading it just goes back to normal screen and still no images as there should be, dont get me wrong nothing is broken can just not seem to sort the logos any help i would be grateful for some direction..
If you are running one of the latest Wooshbuilds & have followed the instructions, then there should not be an issue. This is of course if you have added your line correctly? What version are you currently using?

I can't remember if the instructions tell you to check for existing picons & remove if any first.
Also check that you are installing srp picons, the others don't work for some reason.

If you don't have a Sly skin when you press the EPG button, you have't flashed WooshBuild. If you have you need to do a channel scan as per the instructions and then an EPG scan. For this to work you need your sat cables plugged in.
Check through the instructions as I think you have missed something somewhere.

Hi Wooshman,
Done everything to the letter and checked again removed and flashed a few time to make sure but still getting just the slyk emblem and nothing else in place even when downloaded all picon , all cables connected so not sure where going wrong, will give it another spin tomorrow with a fresh mind , Thanks for getting back to me dude..

Well if it is any consolation v4 had picons pre-installed.
I really should get it done for the 2S. Once day, promise.

Mate that would be amazing if you get time as i no your in high demand but then thats cos your good at what you do mate.. Please let me no when thats relesed and in meantime if i sort it i will update you so there is no rush then on v4 lol

Providing your hdd has been initialised it should work as standard.
Goto
Menu -> Setup -> Recording & timeshift -> timeshift settings -> timeshift location
that needs to be set to /media/hdd/timeshift, but it is worth re-setting it anyway by pressing OK on it and locating the folder yourself.
Don't forget to save settings.

Hi Guys,
Must admit i have just tried the pause option on my box and its a no go ?? not sure whats wrong checked everything and set the usb up as stated as i have done many of these boxes but to be honest never tried to pause lol, any ideas where to proceed?? and tried setting up the usb again and still no joy so not sure whats going on, could this be a usb issue that may not be compatable with this build??
