Getting m3u URL To Be Recognised

Hey folks, a little help please.

I've got an IPTV m3u URL in the following format:

http://****************/get.php? username=**********&password=*******&type=m3u_plus&ouput=m3u8

I can open this in VLC player on my PC just fine and it decompresses? all the individual channels into a playlist. But, if I try to load this m3u URL on my zgemma H2S using 2boom's m3u Bouquet plugin, it won't recognise it. Instead, I'm having to open it in VLC, export it as an m3u playlist of all the individual channels, eg:

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:0,3e
http://*************:8080/****/********/*******/1586.ts
#EXTINF:0,Alibi
http://*************:8080/****/*******/*******/1582.ts
And so on for every channel.

Is there any way I can get the plugin to recognise the original m3u URL so it just does it automatically? Do I need to format it somehow? Many thanks.

Doesn't it download the m3u when you past it in a web browser then just ftp the m3u to hdd.

Tommycahir has a script to download the m3u and places it into bouquets, you'll have to do a bit of Googling though.

I have a m3u can u explain in laymans terms how to get this into my zgemma
Quick guide below and its quite easy to do

For Vix

Install IPTVBOUQUET from Vix feeds

then go to Menu/Setup/System/Channel selection settings

Enable unlinked bouquets – change to YES
Green to save

then ftp your IPTV M3U or VOD list to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/IPTVbouquet/channels

but rename it to have .txt at the end rather than .m3u

Open the m3u file in notead and save it as playlist.txt and send to desktop and then ftp it to above

then Menu/Plugins/IPTVBOUQUET

Find your playlist.txt and press green to INSTALL to bouquets

Then RESTART your box

Then go to channel list fav,s and your list will be in there

Don't mind paying for a sub. Would I be able to resell the product though or make a commission?
Rather worryingly is that there are some scrupulous people who do exactly that. Unsuspecting customers buy from them only to find that all the channels they have paid for have mysteriously disappeared a few days later!

Why do that? I think what I was trying to ask was how do I become a reseller for an iptv service provider? I can't imagine why people would take someones hard earned money only to later remove the channels they paid for...

Sadly Philip, there will always be people (especially at the moment with the end of cs) who will be opportunists who look for easy opportunities to make a little extra cash and possess no conscience whatsoever.

As for you thinking of becoming a reseller, it is certainly possible. A few suppliers on here offer people the chance to be resellers. The only issue you may face is that selling subs on here for a newbie seller like yourself is strongly discouraged. Some customers are looking for veteran sellers who have been doing it for some time (only because of trust issues we have discussed), but you have to start somewhere.

Thanks for that reply. That's really helpful. I have been looking online for iptv service providers. I just don't know who to go with. Ultimately, I would like to invest money in the right provider and aim to provide a high quality and genuine, reliable service.
