Hi all,
like everyone else atm I'm losing channels and I'm looking to go down the IPTV route but I'm a little confused as to which way is the best to go either smart tv or my zgemma box, I've read that if I go with the zgemma box it will come with an epg guide which I would like, can someone shed some light on this :)

I too am looking for the same answer.
Zgemma or samsung smart tv.
Whats best? and pros and cons.

if it isnt broke, take it apart then it soon will be.

Smart tv the smart iptv app is set up to work properly while the zgemma's are only using a add on plugin and don't have as much ram as most smart tvs

Yes it's designed for use where as a zgemma box main design is a sat receiver not made for this type of service

I got it on the iptv app on Samsung Smart TV and Its great had it for about 2 months only problem I have had is twice the app has gone down but once you have sorted it takes about 5 mins to get back on. Must admit epg on Smart app is virtually non existent but otherwise its ok. Still have CS but use it less and less.

@ ice203 ipab sounds great but can you run it on an lg tv as well as zgemma and firestick? any chance you could pm me who you use/what server?

Hi. I have m3u list. how I can convert it to enigma2 format so after I can use PuTTy. Or do u have any better idea?

I have both. Use Zgemma for every day use mainly for the epg and easy for the grandparents when they have the kids but then we use smart iptv for football and movies as I get a slightly better picture and can fast forward and rewind.
I find the Hs2 runs iptv great but I have tuners disabled. With decent internet speed and a good supplier I have no problems with either devices.
