Wooshbuild Support Thread

Go into download plugins (green, green) and look for the Wooshbuild section. If you can't see that go into your ISP account and turn off the Safe surfing rubbish they are forcing on their customers. Then try again.

Managed to find the WB section, it's got 2 addons: add vpn easily, iptv player icon updater and sky picons.

Going to try the other London regions to see if it works

Yeah pal, gave all the London regions a try but no luck. I'll be fine with the sd channels for now, will there be a potential fix?

No, no celebratory here, just someone with to much time on his hands.

OK, before you reset everything to SD, try Meridian South East. I know that works as it is my region. If that doesn't work then we need to look at resetting some bits on your box.

Same thing with this region too :-/. Must be the box then.
 
If you changed the country and then back to England in WB Config it will have downloaded the file it needs so I would say either it hasn't downloaded or something is screwed.

Go to your ISP and turn the safe guard rubbish off anyway and see if that fixes it. Restart your box after doing it. Then scan again.

Will give this a try tomorrow morning as limited right now to check out my ISP account. Will give the box a restart right now to see if it makes any difference. Will come back to you tomorrow.

Every morning my Ab e2 runs it's updates I end up with 101 to 105 back as sd, which means I then change them back using the wb config steps previously stated, any advice on how to stop ab doing this would be great ...
 
Hi,

I've just installed whooshbuild v7 onto my zgemma H2.S, but when setting the region to Scotland and Grampian, the EPG is displaying BBC Alba in channel position 101. This was BBC 1 HD in the previous build. Is there anyway to change this, or is this something that has changed in a bouquet file and can't be changed? The reason being that the Grampian area isn't a gaelic speaking region and I'm a little confused as to why this has changed.

My dad's just got a h7s upgraded from the h2s, h2s works fine, I've flashes the h7s with 3 diff builds and gone back to wooshbuild as the images obviously isn't a problem, the problem is I can't get no satellite signal on the h7s but if I plug the H2s back in it all works and showed signed, I've brought his box home to try on my dish and it's the same problem. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Because Sky have moved all of the channels around. Go into AutoBouquets E2 in the plugins list, press the menu button, disable swap channels and press the OK button twice to run a scan. This will put the correct SD channels as 1,2,3,4 and 5. At present there isn't a real solution. You can install AutoBouquetMaker instead but for now disabling channels swaps works.

Sounds to me like the box is bad if it has been tested on 2 satellite dishes and you still have no channels.

As you know WooshBuild scans as part of the setup process and if the other images don't work either it really is pointing to a tuner issue.

Just tried that and no difference, I was kinda thinking that it was a tuner fault but was hoping in the background it wasn't and I was missing something, I'll have to get dad to send it back then I guess. Thanks for your help
 
Mr Whooshman just in case you hadn't noticed as well as the standard bbc1 itv ch4 etc bbc news HD which is usually on 503 appears to also have gone and been replaced with the SD version? Not a problem waiting on a fix (honest) just in case you hadn't realised that on. I'm on West Norfolk region (also tried a few others but bbc news hd never seems to be in any of their line ups either) :)
 
If I remember rightly., press EPG, highlight Eastenders and press the record button. This should bring up a small popup for series link.

This is how pretty much all E2 boxes work and isn't specific to WooshBuild.

Hi. I've tried this but it only records on the Monday, I then have to do it for all the other days.
I used to be able to edit the recordings and untick a certain box but the interface has changed and I cant figure it out any more.

Press and hold the red button release which will bring up your timers - go to the east Enders Entry and press the ok button this will then show you the menu where you can change from once to daily or weekday etc remember to press the save button once done :)

So pressing the red button from the EPG would have brought up the same thing I think.

I am remote-less at the weekend so go by memory.
