Hope you guys can help....

I have an Amiko Alien 2+ flashed with OpenTV 6.2. I've followed the Wooshbuild intallation guide but having a couple of problems.
First, the service scan doesn't pick up any channels whatsoever (Tuner A: Tuner3-T/T2(T/T2/C). Secondly, the external HDD (Seagate 500g) won't initialise. Formatted the drive on quick and slow format. Gets to 99% then shows a timeout error. I've tried numerous USB drives as well but nothing.

I'm on day 3 of trying to sort this out and it's so annoying as I'm usually quite tech savvy. Any help would be greatfully received. Will post any other required info on request.
 
put open atv 6.2 on your box and when it gets to the part were you have to sort hdmi out with your remote stop there go to computer and put infinity on the instructions are on page 1 of this thread the link is at top of page in green
 
Bootice helped thank you. Now have Wooshbuild installed. Albeit with some errors on some plugin installations. My problem now is I'm not seeing 28.2e on the tuner settings. All that shows on tuner A is what I posted in the previous message. Vix4 finds Astra without a problem.

Thanks , however i don’t have a refresh rate setting in either basic video settings or extended?

have got a new H2H connected to Virgin.
clean box, followed the instructions to install infinity (installed OATV 6.2 build, then installed infinity via openwebif).

all good so far, it went thru the setup, scanned channels, then got to the part where it asked about usb storage for recording. i don't have external USB storage but have a micro SD card installed, let it continue and it said it found no storage device, then it crashed with blue screen and rebooted and seems to be stuck in that loop now.

if i select EXIT at that point is drops me out to OATV and seems to bailed out of the infinity setup.
i have no ABM, no cams.

where have i went wrong?
do i need to start from scratch? and if so, how do i get past the storage section if i don't have a USB device connected (i'm not bothered about recording, the micro SD was just for EPG and cache file data)
 
damn, i always used micro USB on my other OATV builds.
the only thing i have kicking around is a USB memory stick, that will work?

IF i remember rightly there was a problem with using sd cards and I dont think it ever got fixed. Have you no usb at all to use? If its stuck in a loop reflash it again but dont let it scan for channels. Select scan later manually as infinity scans for the channels right at the end. This could be causing the blue screen crash.
I am hoping it then gets through the setup, you might see some errors as it tries to put the picons on your hdd/usb

Yes, I clicked 'satellite only'. As I see it, it picks up the feed automatically but only found 'Tuner A: Tuner3-T/T2(T/T2/C'. And nothing connected to Tuners B and C.
It's so frustrating as the skin looks amazing but can't view anything.

UPDATE...

Scanning now and finding channels. For Amiko Alien 2+ users, you set 28.2e on Tuner B

Hi all

I've just installed woosh build on top of atv 6.1 on my vu zero, I've added my iptv details into e2m plugin, I get the bouquets but just a black screen when I click a channel.
also installed service app and changed to exte3 player but no difference, and help would be appreciated
 
Hello everyone,

I just got my Zgemma H9S today and my supplier for IPTV wants me to use iPab and will not give me another option.

I want to stay with wooshbuild as I prefer it, so I downloaded suls plugin and I have my m3u file from the supplier, but do not have a XML TV url, as required to get the EPG. EPG importer has setup my bouquets correctly, but my epg is not working on IPTV only on the sat side and when I choose sources in EPG importer it wont even let me select the IPTV epg. I assume it is because I left the XML TV url empty in the suls plugin?

Can anyone help who is more clued up on this stuff?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
