I've done that, pressed terminal typed root pressed enter then, opkg install http://wbuildx.co.uk/setup.ipk then enter but nothing happens? have I missed something?

What appears in the terminal window after you type "Root" and press Enter ?

the basebuild you have is outdated you need to reflash eith open atv 6.2 then install wooshbuild infinty over the top of open atv 6.2

I updated the box through software updates, then the box said it will restart, however the box is now not turning on, the box turned on and it said 'USB' on the front of the box and now it says 'boot' and has been stuck on that , the box does not go any further than that and there is not anything being shown on the tv, seems like the box is stuck on 'boot' with a red light next to it.

I have tried 2 usb sticks and put openatv 6.2 on them and have put them in the box to see if it flashes but nothing, still on boot

any way i can get past this stage ?

Its ok ive managed to get it working, tried flashing it again and seems to be working now , thanks for the help

You flash the box, input the command using terminal in webif. The box will reboot with the infinity logo. You then follow the on screen instructions (basically pressing the ok button) until you get to the infinity setup, where you are asked if you want to initialise your usb

I now have a question re EPG. I seem to only display a day at a time. How could I see 7 days and select a programme in three days time to autorecord without having to step through every programme one by one

press green>epgimporter>press blue>choose Rytec UK sat/virgin press ok
make sure theres green ticks in the six categories that open up underneath.
press green to save, then press yellow

Another question - is there a chart showing what coloured buttons are active on each screen? Without the help on here I would have still been stuck !

Not sure if this is what you mean, but if you press the blue button while you are in the epg, it moves it on 24 hours
Yellow is -24

Yes +&- 24hrs is exactly what I was asking but my coloured buttons give me different functions

I've changed skins several times but I have not found one that has +&- 24hrs as options on the epg coloured keys. I'm using WB Freesat at the moment.

Does your screen need altering
Not near the box at the minute but I think its menu > setup > usage&GUI > extended GUI > OSD position
Leave the first three as they are, and you can change the rest

Hi - I have a question. i installed Wooshbuild Infinity which seems to be working. I'm using my Zgemma H2S as Freesat only but on the EPG I am missing quite a few channels which I know should be on Freesat (e.g. BBC News Channel, Sky News Channel)

Some times it easier just to reflash it rather than trying to figure out what as gone wrong. Your settings seem a bit screwed somewhere.
Just do a complete install but dont restore settings. Make sure you have a copy of your line if you have one, and your iptv

Yes. The missing channels are there (if I press my 'TV' button on the remote) I get to see every channel and can select it that way but its cumbersome. Its just not showing those channels on the EPG when I select 'EPG' on my remote

Hi guys, I got a zgemma h52tc from the forum sponsor and I'm not finding it too reliable, finding it crashes and reboots every other day since I bought it to the point its getting annoying.

I updated to the final release of openatv 6.1 using wooshbuild infinity. (I used to use a 2017 release of openatv).

I've attached the log, its always the same error when trying to change channel.

I don't use timeshift and have switched this off so not sure why this error keeps showing.
Under timeshift settings:
- enable autorecord is set to no
- automatically start timeshift after is set to disabled

I was originally using a 2.5" externally powered sata drive. I removed this and started using a genuine sandisk 16gb class 10 microsd card in the microsd slot in the box. This made no difference.

Usually problems happen when changing channel (don't have iptv).
Sometimes it doesn't wakup from standby either so have to press the reset switch behind the box.

are you using epg importer
menu -plugins-epg importer-sources-rytec uk/sat/vermin xmltv make sure all is tickedsave then manual bring in all epg..

try open atv 6.2
