Guide A guide to the best boxes for IPTV 2021

The 270 was £60 on Amazon but no stock and upto £100 for it.
The google can be had for £75 just now with a student code.

Google TV Streamer 4K - 25% Off at Google Store for £74.25 | hotukdeals
Personally I would stay away from google devices, they are testing removing sideloading in a few countries next year before rolling it out in 2027 across all
Go for a formuler which should be future proof and doesn't require sideloading because of their own built in app

That's only for non verified apps/developers tivimate and smarters etc are verified developers the legit versions are anyway

Yes exactly for none verified apps, just wondering if that will affect iptv suppliers with say hard coded apps.

It's only the start of it, once sideloading is stopped they will then take control of all apps that they want on their store or force creators to pay a higher premium.

Any sources to reference your claims.
Sideloading has only been mentioned in any of the articles I have read.

So puzzled again?

I do own a shield its my go to every time never let me down but have to try newer devices to see how they perform, if just watching tv & vod shield is expensive but there's now a few decent devices about with good specs depends what you need it for really

I am excited about the new Apple TV that’s coming out. I preffer AppleTV as it is the most privacy friendly option for TV boxes and also well supported. Even the older gen models work great with multiple apps (my favourite is UHF).

Just got the 270 and I really don't like it!! Took an age to set up and didn't realise it was Android TV OS, which imo is utter shite. Personally the Firestick 4K max is better and more user friendly.

Just wondering why you think "Android TV OS is utter shite" ?

you can't side load as many apps as normal android. i use modded vpns on my android mobile, which work great. They don't install on Firestick too, so thought they would be ok on the 270. Anyway, like i said, there is a noticeable dfference in the stability of the wifi connection and that is a major plus.
