I see, so it's fine to sacrifice 100,000 lives related to the lockdown to save 50,000 covid patients and destroy the economy as well?
it is estimated at least 100K will die unnecessarily.
Yes protect the NHS from a huge influx in a short time, and yes it will save lives of some covid patients but it will also see off 100k non covid victimsUnnecessarily? You do realise that the lockdown is in place to save lives and protect the nhs?
get kids back in school
There's been 11th May mentioned after May holidays and beginning of September mentioned we get phone calls from school to see how everyone is ectThe Kids school rang last week (primary school) too check how everything was and there looking to back open by the end of May
Their death rate per million of population is a lot less than ours and we've been in lockdown for 3 weeks, they haven'tPablo not meaning to offend, but good job you are no in charge of this country..Sweden death toll is very high for size of the country,..Your being very bravado with peoples lives..The school next to me has 1500 kids, and there is a lot bigger than that in UK ..How do you keep that many kids apart..Chaos comes to mind.
Yes, except they've now moved the goalposts to 'when there is no possibility of a second peak', IOW after the vaccine is rolled out because until then, there's always going to be possibility of a second peak.Personally, I think it's gonna be 12 weeks from start to end.
No one is saying lift the lockdown, but at some point, and BEFORE we are all vaccinated = 2023, the restrictions will have to be eased, they can ease them now.
Social distancing, masks mandatory, gel everywhere, get factories and smaller shops and buisnesses opened up before they all disappear for good.
As far as schools are concerned, what's going to happen with this years leavers? - no exams
whats going to happen with this years new starters? - start them a year later when were all vaccinated?
